Participants in this program may also receive help with utility payments during their assistance period.

Long-term funds may be used for up to 12 months of rental assistance. In this program, a tenant pays

30% of his/her monthly income for rent. The remainder of the rent is paid for with HOPWA funds.

Emergency services may be used for rent or utilities and may not exceed $250.00 per person per year.
